Provider: SCISAVAGE Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”)

Service Name: SciSavage Professional Best Friend (“Service”)

By booking and using the Service, you (“Client”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

1.1 The SciSavage Professional Best Friend Service is a personal and professional support service designed to help you clarify goals, stay accountable, and move forward in your life.

1.2 The Service is not therapy, counselling, psychological treatment, medical care, or advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition or medical condition, and does not substitute professional services from qualified healthcare, mental health, legal, financial, or other regulated professionals.

1.3 All sessions are booked through Meety: Appointment Booking and are subject to this agreement.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to book or receive the Service.

2.2 By booking or using the Service, you affirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Appointments are booked via Meety at the prices displayed at the time of booking.

3.2 Payments must be made in full in advance of each session or package, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3 You agree that scheduled session times are held exclusively for you and will be honoured according to this agreement.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 You are responsible for your participation, engagement, and implementation of ideas discussed during any session.

4.2 You are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, wellbeing, and outcomes resulting from participation in the Service.

4.3 You understand that the best friend support is not medical or clinical advice. If you require such services, you must seek them from qualified professionals.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 We will maintain confidentiality of all information shared through the Service, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm to you or others.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Important Legal Note: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, UK consumers normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online service contracts. However, if you expressly request the Service to begin within that 14-day period and acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right once the Service is fully performed, that right may be waived.

6.1 Cancellation Notice: You must provide at least 48 hours notice before your scheduled session time to cancel or reschedule without penalty.

6.2 Late Cancellations or No-Shows: If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or you do not attend your appointment, you will be charged the full session fee.

6.3 Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the session. Requests made later may be treated as cancellations with full fees payable.

6.4 Refunds:

  • If you cancel more than 48 hours prior to a scheduled session, full refunds are processed within 14 days of cancellation.
  • If the session has commenced or if you cancel within 48 hours, no refund will be given.

6.5 Package Sessions: For multi-session packages, the same cancellation terms apply per session. If unused sessions are cancelled with required notice, these may be refunded or retained for future rebooking at our discretion.

6.6 Exceptions: In exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious illness), we may at our discretion offer alternative arrangements or partial refunds if reasonable notice is provided.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse service to anyone for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

7.2 You may terminate your participation at any time. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations for sessions already delivered or scheduled without timely cancellation.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCISAVAGE Ltd and its agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the Service.

8.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including personal injury, death caused by negligence, or fraud.

9. Changes to Terms

9.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2 Any dispute arising in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
